TANDEM NAMED “2019 TOP-RATED NONPROFIT” by GreatNonprofits

Award based on Outstanding Online Reviews

Tandem, Partners in Early Learning announced today it has been named a “2019 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews of charities and nonprofits. Tandem has been a top-rated nonprofit since 2015. Tandem’s mission is to engage the whole community to ensure all families have the resources, skills, and confidence they need to support their children’s kindergarten readiness. Tandem’s programs include a school-to-home book-sharing program, as well as workshops for parents on early learning topics, and professional development trainings on early childhood brain development and family engagement strategies for educators and family support professionals.

The Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is the based on the rating and number of reviews that Tandem received from volunteers, donors and aid recipients. “The Tandem program has helped my students enjoy reading…their vocabulary and letter recognition [is] increasing. [Tandem’s] books are interactive, so the students are engaged. By sending books home every week, the families are getting involved in their child’s development of early literacy skills. It is an excellent program that is supporting my students in their reading development,” shared an educator currently receiving Tandem’s StoryCycles® book-sharing program.
